A- 1 Code-free Classroom Websites - Jaime Bennett- Millcreek Township School District

A hands-on workshop giving you the opportunity to create a classroom website using Google Sites. No knowledge of HTML code is necessary to create a functional and attractive website that students, parents, and colleagues can use to get information or notes, find assignments and due dates, link to online references, get homework help, and more!

A- 2 Making Classroom Connections using Free Web-based Apps - Connie Sitterley- PENNCREST School District

 The Web 2.0 tools that are free to access and utilize provide many new ways for students (of all ages) to make connections for learning.  During this interactive session we will explore many of these web-based applications to see how they can make learning more engaging and encourage students, and ourselves to become creators of content, not just consumers.

A-3 Organize and Share with delicious.com Online Bookmarks - Connie & Kyli Sitterley - PENNCREST School District

Consolidate all your internet bookmarks into del.icio.us, an easy-to-use, free online bookmarking application. During this session, learners will: create a del.icio.us account, start their online bookmark collection, discover the power of tagging, establish a bookmarking community with other participants and experience the power of the del.icio.us network for finding valuable resources. This session will be mostly hands-on with plenty of time to discuss and contemplate personal, professional and classroom uses for this powerful research and organizational tool.
